Book Review: Northern Skies

By TJ Johnson

Northern Skies is book 2 in the Davaar Island series. Book 2 picks up essentially where the first left off. We rejoin Abby and Murdo and their friends in Campbeltown. Abby finds herself settling into a comfortable life in her new Scottish home but issues back in Australia still loom with her soon to be ex. Friends find themselves in relationship turmoil and there’s still the matter of a maniac on the loose.

Everything I enjoyed about book one in this series is ramped up in the sequel. The suspense increases as Abby’s stalker becomes increasingly desperate to bring is ultimate goal to fruition. There’s enough conflict to keep the story moving along. And if you’re a fan of steamy romance scenes, this book delivers plenty of them. The cliffhanger at the end will have you hunting down book 3 the second you finish the last page. This series really should be on your summer reading list!

Rating: 5 out of 5.
