The Ultimate 100 Book Reading Challenge

Are you ready for the challenge?

I have been hard at work on editing Ruth Long, Age 88 and writing the 99 cent double feature. My new favorite editing tool is the read aloud feature in Word. I have to say there is something hilarious about hearing a Stephen Hawking -esc voice reading Ruth Long, Age 88. But it’s a great way to catch redundant words, missing words, and other typos a simple spell check doesn’t capture.

But I took some time out this past weekend to work on another passion of mine. Creating a reading challenge! I am always looking for a fun new reading challenge. Typically, I look for them on Pinterest. They’re a great way to discover new authors, explore different genres, and have led me to some of my favorite books.

The Ultimate 100 Book Reading Challenge

As an avid reader, I’m often asked for book suggestions. So I decided to put all of my best recommendations on one simple list! The list is a blend of historical fiction, classic literature, and suspense novels.

  1. As much as I would like to read all these it just wouldn’t ever work. I finally finished Book 4 of Dean Koontz Frankenstein series after about 6 months of trying. Time for book 5 which I should finish by 2021.

  2. This seems like a great challenge, but I don’t think I would be able to do it lol I get bored fast.

  3. This is a great challenge. ive been wanting to get back into reading as much as i use to. Like many other say, I’m afraid it would take me years before I finish the challenge.

  4. I am going to forward this to my mom, she is a retired teacher who loves to read. She is always looking for new books. I know she would enjoy something like this, thanks!
