[Book Review] Under His Spell by Luv Lubker

By Luv Lubker

Book one in The Rival Court series, Under His Spell is a historical romance novel following the love story of Prince Fritz of Prussia and Princess Vicky, eldest daughter of Queen Victoria. The young couple aspires to unite Germany into a peaceful kingdom but Fritz’s uncle Karl has other aspirations.

This story is an incredibly well researched imagining of the early years of Fritz and Vicky’s marriage against the backdrop of the complicatedly interwoven royal houses of Europe. Vicky’s role was certainly far from easy and she is a fascinating heroine. Lubker creates an engaging tale that kept my interest from beginning to end.

I would like to thank the author for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review. Under His Spell is available for purchase through the author’s website.

Rating: 5 out of 5.
