Madilynn Dale is a mixed genre writer based out of Oklahoma US. She is married and has one little boy who is three. Madilynn has a group of rescue pets and she enjoys being outdoors. And is an avid reader and enjoys reading in her downtime.
Releasing Her Power Within follows main character Liz as she discovers a magical world by unveiling a family secret.
Q: What inspired you to write this book?
I was inspired to create this story following a dream I had during pregnancy. I have always been an avid reader and in my dream this world filled with magic and love came to life.
Q: What sort of research went into the writing of this book?
I did research on different types of fae and other paranormal beings as well as looking into the meaning of names.
Q: Do you have a favorite character in the book?
I love Liz’s character. She and I can relate on many things.

Q: This is the first book in the Fae Shifters series. Can you tell us a little more about the series?
The series continues to follow along with Liz as she takes down various villains and makes sacrifices to keep those she loves safe. She faces villains stemming from the beginning of creation.
Q: What kind of feedback are you getting from readers?
I have got a varied range of feedback from readers. They love the characters and how realistic the story seems. They also really love the love between Liz and her mates and the friendship stemming between her and Tiff.

Q: What inspires you to write?
I am inspired by many things. Mostly being outdoors fuels my creativity.
Q: Is there a message or common theme in Releasing Her Power Within (or the series) you want readers to grasp?
It’s never to late to change and take that leap of faith.
Q: What is on your current reading list?
I am currently working through the series From Blood and Ash by Jennifer Armentrout and I’m constantly adding to the list.

Q: What is your next writing project?
I am currently working on a collaboration with a friend following a set of twins in a fantasy world as well as a story following a young woman who discovers she isn’t a wolf shifter but a hellhound.
